What is Terps After Dark?
Terps After Dark is a collection of late-night, alcohol-free events meant to keep 1st-year students, and students new to the university, engaged on-campus during the first six weeks of school.
When and how often do Terps After Dark events take place?
Every Thursday-Saturday night from 10PM-2AM for the first six weeks of school. This year, Terps After Dark kicks off on Thursday, August 22 and concludes on Saturday, September 28.
Who can participate in Terps After Dark?
Everyone! We welcome all new and returning University of Maryland, College Park students (undergraduate and graduate).
What kinds of events can Terps expect?
All kinds! Indoor and outdoor movies, athletic events, music and dance activities, comedy and artist performances, and much more! Plus, many of the events will offer free food and other fun giveaways that you won’t want to miss.
Who coordinates these events?
Terps After Dark is lucky to have support from a number of great partners, including: Adele H. Stamp Student Union, Alumni Association, Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center, Dining Services, Division of Student Affairs, Fraternity and Sorority Life, Intercollegiate Athletics, Maryland Hillel, Parent & Family Affairs, Public Safety, Residence Hall Association, Resident Life, Student Entertainment Events, Terp Thon, University Health Center, and University Recreation & Wellness.
